QRIC | OPPO New Robot Dog

The robot competition is at the primary stage, technical corporations are still working hard on different types of robots. Recently, the well-known consumer electronics manufacturer OPPO announced that it will present the OPPO QRIC that day as its first quadruped robot product. 

The QRIC is similar to Petoi’s robot dog Bittle, positioned as a child's companion. In addition to functions like jumping, backflipping, lifting stuff and detecting falls, QRIC can talk and offer video calls as well, just like a real dog without coat and emotion. Besides, we can also ask it to do some simple chores, such as organizing the mess in the house, collecting parcels from delivery people, and helping family members make emergency calls using visual intelligence. What a well-trained dog. Regardless of price, ORIC at least is a smart non-furry friend that never dies, which is quite suitable as a companion. But for real pet lovers, the quadruped robot can be only treated as a feelingless robot, a robot nanny, or, a toy.
